Great Leaders are not born, they are made.

Every single person in this earth is born as a leader. They are leader for themselves, their family, their community, and also for their country some time as well as we know. For each of that lists element surely need a good leadership as a condition for success. Belong to western philosopher, they said that the great leaders are not born, but made. For support their theory of philosophy, they build a “school of leadership” just only for make a great leaders.

The questionable play around our mind, it’s that we got a same level of ability to become a greatest leader? All such things happened. Back to the schools point, the potential children will be choosing. They start choosing a children that have full ability and criteria that they need. That is no longer will produce first class person, second class person and third class person. That mean, first class person as a leader that have all such things criteria and condition that they needed. This person will get everything they want; they will become spoils people for the “G” means government (regime).
This ugly tactical work may be controls by the “Hidden Hand”. Second class person also known as “middle class people” is a person that failed to join elite children as “the chosen one” by the G. So these children will survived and make themselves for any other ways of work, some of them will involve on industrial sector, and other will involve in cooperate sector. Others try to make easy ways by join uniform organization such as police, army and so on. Not forgotten them that join the G as white collar workers.

The other last class is a third class person, they is a people that very poor looks from their aperients until on their ability of leadership. They have nothing to prove, their voice will not listen at all by the G (also known as a first class person after). Their voice like rubbish becomes too smelly if not dispose. This lower class person just makes their money by work as a beggars, sweepers, garbage collector, and hawker. One level above is a fisherman, taxi driver and farmer. This was made because of that school. The discrimination of that system will produces this hierarchy of class, not be wrong if I label it same like a pharaoh era if we alert! The hidden hand will select which up next become leaders after the beginning leaders.

Islam comes to make a new version of life, new version of scope and a new version of eyes. That mean, all wrong matter will be fight and all wrong statements by human will be counter. Islam as a “Din” means “religion” in English is a simple ways of life. Islam make the ways looks straight and peaceful. Belong to Islam; there is a different meaning of leaders. Islam said, “great leaders also will be born”, but not easy to make”.
For support that statement, let’s think this hadith from Prophet Muhammad S.A.W,
“Greed and Faith can never co-dist in human heart”
Source: An-Nasai , on authority of Abu Hurayrah.
The summary of that hadith, means that the positive attitude and negative attitude will never join together like a magnet, they are pushing each other until for ever. So, inside human heart there are only choose either good or bad things. All over this word wants to prove that every single person was born as a “Muslim” an Arabic word means “fair and clean”. That mean, they (human) not born for sin. Sin will happen when they think and want to make a wrong and sinful character and work.

The point is, every single person is a leader for themselves after born. But for make them to get another class of leadership (from self’s leader into family’s leader for example) they need another strong tonic to make it successful. This tonic will be plant by “positive character” inside them. This character beat all challenge among them. This character also will be produce when they know and followed the law. Remember! There is no law greatest then God’s law. Islam mentions that God’s law just only inside the holy Quran. These books are telling us a manual how to make this life better and great.

The famous last word, the grateful leader like Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus and lastly most familiar human in earth, Muhammad is just born and selected by God. They are not study at school, then up teaching manually by God by using Holy Books for each of them.

Birth order Trait

Psychology always plays on our brain. Its make us believe something in our outside mind box. Every birth is made by God have a different character and ability. But how this character and ability produce a psychology attitude between different born in family. We can discuss this theory by study the character among the eldest, middle and youngest child in any family.

For the eldest one, the psychology mentions that they are more responsible. This word exists because the eldest always make their parent hope that they can take care of family, or take care of their young brother and sister. This sense makes them really responsible as an eldest birth. They are also looks perfectionist in leadership. Among a popular leader in world today majorly came from the eldest birth in family, the exactly example is US President for now, Barack Obama. He is a brave man, good vision as a leader and very high IQ men. For sure, the eldest is a person that very low self-esteem because they are always think others than own selves.
The middle child is a person that born in between the eldest and the youngest in family. They are very simple and like to take an average decision in their life. Sound that, they are always in a cool condition and very flexible in any situation. They are not a good achiever in any competition, but they are very creative. Make their parent proud about their “magic” ability. Some people said their looks an artistically inclined. Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Tom Hanks is a people that come from a middle child birth. But, they are not good in self’s motivational action. Sometimes they are often felt neglected and lack of direction in life.

Sense lucky to became a youngest child in family. They are not more thinking a lot, sometimes looks they are do not know the word of “Problem”, “Difficulty” or “challenge”. They were often getting away with anything they want. Just ask, their permission will not longer come fasters. But they are not free than their brother and sister because of their mature ability and poor of knowledge and experience. If lost of controls, they are not taken seriously about any kind of issues. They are just thinking about enjoyable than responsible.
For conclude my word, this psychology theory of birth is just a simple basic study of human character. Every single person gave by God a brain to mind and think every answer of any question about them self. What I want to be? What I’ll do? You just ask you’re self.

The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side of the Fence

I am not totally agreed with this as I have experienced living in another country for about one year and a half. It was a very good experience though and one that I will cherish for a very long time. But no matter how far you go, I just think that it is always difficult to keep your memory away from the place where you have spent your whole life. Living in another country is an opportunity of a life time and it represents you with a new challenge with different culture and varsity. As the time goes by, you will realize that it is not all good when living in another country and you wish to return back to the place where you had been raised. Sometimes you feel that there is something missing in your life and you miss your loved one and perhaps the smell of nasi lemak too.

What we have learned from the rebel in Egypt?

  1. Do not underestimate the people’s power and aggression to fight for dignity and earn back what is theirs. They have long been suffering from poverty and unemployment throughout the 30 years ruling of Hosni Mubarak. The nation also suffered from corruption which makes thing even worse and hinders their progress as a developing country. The Egyptians decided to stage a protest against the government and wanted Mubarak to step down as the president. Millions of people gathered around the Tahrir Square to show their protest towards the government and the world witnessed itself how determine this people are to make a change and have their say on a new ruling. On Feb 11, Mubarak finally stepped down as the president much to the relief of millions of the Egyptians who celebrated this ‘victory’.  The use of social network has become increasingly popular amongst the youth in all over the world. For the Egyptians, they use it as medium to spark a reformation against their long standing ruler, Hosni Mubarak. Through Facebook or Twitter, they began to spread the news of a possibility of a move to bring down the ruling of the Egyptian leader. They kept in touch with each other and exchanged their displeasure with the way they had been treated throughout the reign of the president. They thought it was about time to make their voice heard and decide what is the best for the people of this nation which is to put an end to the ruling of Mubarak.
  2.  A leader is supposedly lead by example. Their main priority is to fulfill the people’s need and not to use the power they got to suppress their own people. The rebel in Egypt should set a reminder to those who which to serve their country as a leader or currently occupied one that you are under scrutiny once you start to prioritize your own need beyond anything else. In fact, you made most of your power to get wealthy while your people  are suffering from poverty. A leader should be someone who is respected by its people and the one that you could put so much trust to lead his country towards solidarity.

Stereotype

  • Definition : a fixed idea that many people have of a particular type of person or society but which is often not true in reality.
  • When I first arrived in France in July 2009, I always thought that the Frenchmen are arrogant and it would be hard for me to communicate with them. Indeed, I was proved wrong as they were quite friendly and willing to lend me a hand when I do need it.
  • My French lecturer told me that French people are often being called lazy. They work for 7 hours a day and about 35 hours a week. In comparison with Malaysia, I could say that the Malaysians work even harder than the French are. The Malaysian work for 8 to 10 hours a day. In France, the government has set out a rule that the people should work no more than 7 hours a day. It would perhaps give people more quality time with their family.

A positive thing that I’m going to do during the mid-semester break is spending my precious time with my family. We rarely have a time to gather around together so this would be an ideal time for me to do so. A week of holiday is not a long break so there is not much I could do rather than spending lots of my time at home. Perhaps I could help my youngest sister in her studies as she is due to have her PMR at the end of this year. I also love to help my mum in the kitchen because I like to cook and I could learn something from her.

Nuclear Energy : Good or Bad?

Like a neutron colliding with an atom, two factors are igniting Americans, and particularly environmentalists, into reconciling a messy question: Do we or don’t we want to develop nuclear power? Eight years of the Bush administration’s heavily pro-nuclear policies with billions in government subsidies have roused the ailing nuclear industry. Simultaneously, our search for clean, greenhouse gas-free energy sources has turned urgent in the face of climate change. The mix of influences is propelling nuclear energy into the limelight for serious reconsideration.

But many of the old concerns remain. Since the accident at Pennsylvania’s Three Mile Island power plant in 1979, no applications for new nuclear power plant building permits were submitted for almost 30 years. While no one was killed or even hurt following the reactor’s partial meltdown, the public glimpsed the potential for disaster.

Nonetheless, the industry has persevered, claiming improved oversight and potential to improve air quality, although it has found no long-term solution for disposing of its radioactive waste. Today, 104 nuclear reactors in 31 states supply 20 percent of our electricity, making it our second largest energy source after coal.

Meanwhile, research has mounted documenting current and potential impacts of climate change. The IPCC found the world must drastically and quickly reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses expelled into the atmosphere to avoid the worst impacts of a warmer planet, which include rising oceans, more severe weather, destruction of ecosystems, and the spread of animal- and insect-borne diseases.
But there are no easy, off-the-shelf technologies currently available to enable such reductions. Research is underway, alternatives are being built, and waste-cutting efficiencies implemented, although none can yet accomplish the necessary cuts while feeding the world’s voracious and growing use of electricity ... except for maybe nuclear power.
